It'sanaffordablemovietheater.Guestsshouldbemoreconsiderate.There'strashattheentrance,atthelobby,everywhere.However,Iwitnessedstafftryingtocleaneverystep.Theirpopcornwasreallygood,butthesodamachinewasn'tworkingproperly.Itwasabusydayitmightbejustthat.Wegotourticketsonlineanddecidedtotrythedaybed,whichinclude2ticketsandpopcorn,wasinteresting,butsomeoftheseatswereripped,thisdidn'ttakeawayfromtheexperience.Overall,I'dsayit'sworthit,justavoidbusydaysandbuyyourticketsonline,there'snooneatthedoor.

MyfriendrecommendedthistheatretometowatchthemoviesandImustsay,itwaswellrecommended.Thetheatreisgoodwithaboutsixscreens,acafeteria,restroomsandawaitingarea.Thescreensareaboveaverage,thereclinerseatsaresuperspaciousandfullyreclining.Eachseathasitsownsmalltableandacoffeecupholder.ThesoundsystemisdolbyTHX.Verycompetitiveinpriceandlightonyourpocketfortheluxury.

Beautifulmovietheatre,wehadawonderfulexperienceduringourfirstvisit,andwewilldefinitelybebacksoon.Thetheaterisverywellkept,clean,andsmellsfresh,despitethecarpetedfloors.Thebathroomsarealsocleanandsmellfresh.Thegentlemanwhocheckedourticketswasfriendlyandwelcoming.Weabsolutelylovedtheoptionsforseating,especiallytherecliners,whicharespaciousandcanaccommodateafullmeal.Youhavetheoptiontoorderfromthefullmenu,fromtheconvenienceoryourseat,byscanningtheQRcodefoundonyourseattray,andthestaffwillbringeverythingtoyou.Thenachoswereamazing.Wehighlyrecommendthem!Ifyouareinthearea,checkoutTouchstarCinemas.Wehopeyouloveitasmuchaswedo.

WowSouthchasehashadaMAJORupgrade.Gonearethetimesofthesmellytheaterwithuncomfortableseats.Thistheaterhadanamazingrenovation.Webroughtour4yearoldhereforherfirstmovieintheatersandsheLOVEDitalmostasmuchasIdid.ThesereclinersareSOcomfortable.Thepre-assignedseatingisdefinitelyanicetouch.Therearelotsoffoodoptions,andthefloorsevenlooknice.Wewilldefinitelybeback.

Theownerisnarcissistic.Iarrivedahalfhourearlytoaninterview,wasrespectfulandpatientwiththemanager(theywereinarush),andbeforeevenknowingmynameherwordstowardmewerehostileandintendedto"putmeinmyplace"sotospeak.Sheaskedsternlywhatposition,ifI'dsubmittedaresume,gottenaphonecall,andfinallyaskedformyname.Shetoldmetogohaveaseatbecausemyinterview"issupposedtobeat11:30."Itookaseatandwitnessedtheemployeesbehindthecountertalkingamongstthemselveswhiletheypeeredatme.Thatwasenoughformetowalkout.Awordofwarningtothoseapplying,IwastreatedasthoughIwasanincompetentinconvenienceforbeingthere.Forthosewatchingmovies,thewholelobbywasfilledwithsmokewhenIwalkedinandtheemployeesbehindthecounterlookedexhaustedeventhoughthedayhadjuststarted.IimaginewithabosslikethatI'dbetiredtoo.

At$8forthematineeonopeningweekend,IdecidedtogotothisTouchstartheater.Igototheatersallovertheplace,butthepopcornherewassomeofthefreshest,best-preparedpopcornI'veeverhadinamovietheater,ANDitwasreasonablypriced.Kylin,theyoungladyatthecounterwhoservedus,wasverypleasant,patient,andaccommodating.Theauditoriumwherewesaw"TheFlash"wasclean,well-maintained,andveryspacious.Avarietyofseatingoptionsareavailable,includingrecliners.Althoughourseatswerestandard,theywereverycomfortableseats.Thedaybedslookinvitingandextremelycomfortable,butIwouldnevergetone...I'dsleepduringthewholemovie!!IfIlivedinthearea,thiswouldbe"my"theater.

IbeenherebeforeandnowthatIcameback,Iwasexcitedtoseeallthechangesandupgradesthattheydidtotheplace.However,theirservicewasnottopar.WenttoseeAvatar3Dandwhilewewerethere,thestaffwasrude,cheap(notwantingtogiveoutaemptybagorwatercupbecauseof“inventory”),andeverythingwasanupcharge(wegottwocomboswithlargesodacupsbutonerefillis$1.50).Alsothenachocheesetastedhorrible.The3Dexperiencewasokay,Iwish*twasbetterbutlikethesayinggoes..”yougetwhatyoupayfor”.ThepriceforthemoviesisnotbadbutIratherpay$10-20moreandgosomewhereelsetogetbettercostumerserviceandqualityfor3Dmovies.

Givingita4onlybecausethechaosoftheconcession/bararea.Thetheaterisinashoppingcenterthat’ssetupabitwonky.Theentranceareawhereyoupurchaseyourticketsviaakiosksitsonaslantedfloor.Allthethoughtprocesswasputintodesignofthetheatersandnoneintheconcessionarea.It’ssupersmall,concessionsharestheareawiththeirbar.Idon’tknowifthe“bartenders”can’ttakeconcessionordersorchosenottobutthatwouldhavehelpedimmensely.Staffingeneralweresuperfriendlyandhelpful.Thetheaterswerecomfortable(alltheatersarealwayscoldsomakesuretohaveajacketorblanket).ThefirsttimeIhavebeentoonewhereyouhaveachoiceofaregularseat,recliningseator“bed/couch”option.AllseatshavetraytableswhichisniceandyoucanscanaQRcodeandorderfordanditwillbebroughttoyou,sothat’ssuperconvenient.Overallitwouldhavebeena5butit’salow4duetotheconcessionareaandwaittime.

Igotothistheaterallthetime.Ilovetheseatsbutitdoeshaveafewannoyingthings.Onlyonerestroomareainthebuilding.Theydon'thaveanycontainersforyoutosharepopcorn.Youfillyourowndrinkssonowyouhavetotrytobalanceeverythingbecausethereisn'tacounter.Youputthebutteronyourselfsoit'sonlyonthetopnotallmixedin.Theresmallandmediumpopcornisallonesize(medium)andalargeisabagnotatub.Butagain,theyhavegreatseats.
